Worship: It's More Than Singing!

I've sung in mountain cathedrals, with steeples rising high, and altars made of evergreen, and windows made of sky! I've dreamed of stars in the heavens, and starfish in the sea, and wondered how the heart of God, could care so much for me... so much for me! (lyrics to Mountain Cathedrals by Bob Bennett).

Isaiah 58 (cev) Shout the message! Don't hold back. Say to my people Israel: You have sinned! You've turned against the LORD. Day after day, you worship Him and seem eager to learn His teachings. You act like a nation that wants to do right by obeying His laws. You ask Him about justice, and say you enjoy worshiping the LORD. You wonder why the LORD pays no attention when you go without eating and act humble. But on those same days that you give up eating, you think only of yourselves and abuse your workers. You even get angry and ready to fight. No wonder God won't listen to your prayers! Do you think the LORD wants you to give up eating and to act as humble as a bent-over bush? Or to dress in sackcloth and sit in ashes? Is this really what He wants on a day of worship? I'll tell you what it really means to worship the LORD: Remove the chains of prisoners who are chained unjustly. Free those who are abused! Share your food with everyone who is hungry; share your home with the poor and homeless. Give clothes to those in need; don't turn away your relatives. Then your light will shine like the dawning sun, and you will quickly be healed. Your honesty will protect you as you advance, and the glory of the LORD will defend you from behind. When you beg the LORD for help, He will answer: "Here I am!" Don't mistreat others or falsely accuse them or say something cruel. Give your food to the hungry and care for the homeless. Then your light will shine in the dark; your darkest hour will be like the noonday sun. The LORD will always guide you and provide good things to eat when you are in the desert; He will make you healthy. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water or like a stream that never runs dry. You will rebuild those houses left in ruins for years; you will be known as a builder and repairer of city walls and streets. But first, you must start respecting the Sabbath as a joyful day of worship. You must stop doing and saying whatever you please on this special day. Then you will truly enjoy knowing the LORD. He will let you rule from the highest mountains and bless you with the land of your ancestor Jacob. The LORD has spoken!
Colosians 3:15-17/23-25 Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called in one Body, and be thankful. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And everything, whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men; knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong shall receive justice for the wrong which he did, and there is no respect of persons.

When the Indwelling Holy Spirit conquers our Soul, we become Love; we become Worship; we become Empowered; we become One!

We worship God with our very lives; its not something we stop in and do for a few hours on weekends. Truly truly, there's no such thing as a "worship service". This concept began with the Catholic church once it was taken over by anti-Christ’s; humans who never surrendered their entire being and existence, as bondservants unto the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and then received the Indwelling Holy Spirit. As a consequence, they were the Godless-religious, and the evil one used them to squash seeds (and these religious professionals; these hirelings, exist to this day). The business of religion is the product of anti-Christ, as Scripture taught us in 1st John. We of the Indwelling, have nor offer no such services; we have nothing to sell on Gods behalf! Those things are the products of the businesses of religion. We often sing unto the Lord while we build and grow. We pray as the Holy Spirit moves us. We do not schedule God into our lives, we let God schedule us into His: We are ever-ready! Therefore, our very lifestyle centers on this reality: We become Christ-centric! But the Godless-religious are heavily invested into the world; they are debtors to the world; they are its slave, and it is their master. Then in desperation, they try to squeeze God into a few hours weekly, and most cannot even do that! But when we are actually born again, we live and entirely different life on Earth, than most around us. We are in the world, but we are not of it, and this should be obvious. Look at the Amish; look at the Mennonites; now look at your own life. Do you look like the Godless people around you? If so, its because you are, and you do not even know it. Why? Because you live for you, just as the world does; just as the Godless-religious does! Having a self-belief is not to be born again, as Jesus was trying to teach Nick (John 3)!

Worship is not a date; it is not a performance; it is not a duty. Worship is spontaneous; it is the content of your very being; it is who we are, if indeed, the Indwelling Holy Spirit rules and reigns in our hearts, minds and lives. Worship "services" are the productions of the Godless-religious who sell a service to people who hope to buy their way into the Kingdom of Heaven, and this is why they support those services. Without a life-changing Spiritual transformation (to be born again), the Godless hominid becomes a mere product of upbringing, culture and its traditions (conquered by emotions, not the Holy Spirit). The businesses of religion are a part of that culture package; that emotion-packet! When Jesus was trying to explain this to Nicodemus, he too, tried to relate it to things physical, but it is not earthly, it is Heavenly; Spiritual; noncorporeal, and without the Indwelling to enlighten us, it is very difficult to grasp it (w/the brain alone).

In these end-times, humans are waxing cold, just as the Bible said; that humans will get worse as time passes; it will be like the days of Sodom; like the days of Noah. Humanity suffers from the "boiling frog syndrome"; this is part of Biblical prophesy, and it affects the Godless and the Godless-religious, alike! The bulk of humanity will be (and now is) depraved, from generation after generation of Godless people raising Godless children, until eventually there are no humans left worth saving. God destroyed the human race at the flood, and the entire Sodom region with a mega-eruption. Why? Humans without God are depraved; Godlessness is Lovelessness, and the Loveless are indifferent. Today, they participate in the trashing of Gods planet, and then go to church and praise Him. Humans live in such economic disparity, and yet the Godless, and the Godless-religious, do nothing. The Godless are emotionally retarded; they're so overly sensitive, that over time, their cultures are filled with these cowards. They're on-guard for any negative words; doctrine must not come across as too negative, otherwise, people will not want to come to Christ. This "daily cross" business must be attenuated; we must not give a negative image of the faith. Who wants to come to church if it's all negative? If being a Christian is all about sacrifice and surrender, then I want my Christianity to be all positive and encouraging. But you see, once we are IN Christ Jesus; once the Indwelling occurs, we then, see negative and positive in a whole new way: "To live is Christ, to die is gain"; Paul said! We love surrender; we love our bond-slavery; we love to live without all the trappings of this world! The idea of negativism is offensive to the Godless; they cannot hear anything negative without getting emotionally hurt, consequently. If you are open and candid with someone, and what you say hurts their feelings, then you are not a nice person (and yet, only truth hurts)! In that mindset, Jesus Christ was a real jerk. And that John the Baptist, what a candid arrogant man he was! The Bible is filled with negative statements; people slamming each other's character, Jesus referring to people as dogs and pigs. Listen to all these guys:

Matthew 3:1-12 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying; Repent you sinners, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying; "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight". And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leather girdle about his loins, and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Many went out to him from Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about Jordan, and were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them; "O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore, fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones, to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which does not bring forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Indeed, I baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: Whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say; Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Luke 13:1-5 There were present at that season, some that told Him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them; You suppose that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, do you think that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish!
You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then you shall see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
    (Matt.7:5-6)

Matthew 13:10-17 And the disciples came, and said unto Him: Why do you speak to them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Therefore I speak to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says: By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Matthew 15:1-28 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. But He answered and said to them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, "Honor your father and mother"; and, "He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him die by death." But you say, Whoever says to his father or mother, Whatever you would gain from me, It is a gift to God; and in no way he honors his father or his mother. And you voided the commandment of God by your tradition. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, "This people draws near to Me with their mouth, and honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. But in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." And He called the crowd and said to them: Hear and understand. Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying? But He answered and said: Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Then Peter answered and said to Him: Explain this parable to us. And Jesus said: Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the waste-bowl? But the things which come out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies; these are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man. And going out from there, Jesus withdrew to the parts of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaan coming out of these borders cried to Him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is grievously vexed with a demon. But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and begged Him, saying, Send her away, for she cries after us. But He answered and said: I am not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, Lord, help me! But He answered and said: It is not good to take the children's bread and to throw it to dogs. And she said, True, O Lord; but even the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' tables. Then Jesus answered and said to her: O woman, great is your faith! So be it to you even as you wish. And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

1st John 2:15-29 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever. Little children, it is the last time. And just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have risen up, from which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they were of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out so that it might be revealed that they were not all of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and know that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He who denies the Father and the Son is antichrist. Everyone who denies the Son neither has the Father. The one confessing the Son also has the Father. Therefore what you heard from the beginning, let it abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you will abide in both the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He has promised us: everlasting life. These things I have written to you concerning those leading you astray. But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He is revealed, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him in His coming. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who does righteousness has been born of Him.

To say to someone that they need to repent, is calling then guilty; its calling them a Godless sinner, and only a sinner is in need of repentance, Jesus said! Notwithstanding, the unregenerate (the Godless-religious) seek to validate their Godless existence, even as they seek God (though in the most superficial sense): They are really seeking (with itching ears) those who have mastered cultural conformation via Biblical attenuation (today's religious businesses). The Regenerated seek truth at all times; they would leave a church, a job, a home or city, or other important thing/s in their lives, if the truth revealed they do so; and confirmed by the Indwelling Holy Spirit. Jesus said that you must follow Him, at the expense of any and all earthly things; even to walk away from (biological) family members that are leading you astray, or who do not walk the talk, or who are openly Godless. We Love and pray for the lost, but if we get rejected, we are to separate ourselves from them. When/if God Indwells them, they will return to us with the same passion as we have & hold for them. The Godless-religious get caught up in cults and denominations, because they follow other humans, and not God. They do not know the voice of God within them, because its not there. Therefore, they have to follow religious leaders, and they think that religious leaders are found only in religion businesses. They are not!

And so, our worship is but, the sum of whatever we invest our time, and our resources into the most. Most Capitalists spend their days working for mammon, then their spare time shopping; exchanging the mammon for materialism, and then, with down-time, being entertained by those purchases. They invest far more into Hollywood than in Heaven; in the physical body than the Body of Christ! If we give more money to, say, our automobile, than we do to the Body of Christ (that which God has called us to invest into), then the car is the object of our worship; it is our god, and we do not know Jesus Christ at all. This same logic is true of homes or any other material thing that we invest into; for many, the shopping centers are their places of worship; their debt to the world their badge of life. Then they indoctrinate their children, and the cycle continues, until we reach that point of no return, which global warming will be a rook! A day set aside for worship, speaks volumes in and of itself. It says that we will invest in God, our 2-4 hour per-week time inside a church building with other humans, as our evidence of faith in Christ! We will add to that, our tithes; our giving. I will give to God a portion of what is mine: Indeed! The Indwelled see all things as the property of God; I personally own nothing, and God gives and takes away, things that, while in my possession, I am merely a steward over (be it a good or bad demonstration of stewardship). I do not use that which I steward, as a tool (or weapon) to coerce any other human to bend to my will. The things that I/we are given stewardship over, are not there for us to use to exploit (to gain an advantage with), but rather, to protect within the dignity of Christ Jesus our Lord. And so, the idea of tithing, in and of itself, lends proof to support ones true motives while upon this Earth. It is far easier to give 10% of our earnings than 100% of our life. Church as a business, therefore, provides an out for those who never intend to surrender all (creating a temporal win-win for the lost serving the lost)! Jesus Christ came to teach humanity via His actions (and inactions), what it is to know God. Words alone, just like stories past-down, are often embellished by passing generations. All Scripture written by the hands of men, has that same potential. Therefore, those who have only the Word of God, and not the Indwelling Author (the Holy Spirit), has that 2-edged sword we all know about. While many are over-dependent on the written word, still others basically ignore it! We must become the Word, not merely interact with it, as if it's somehow separate from us.

Our worship is more than words; it is more than singing words; it is more than praise. Sure, it encompasses all these things, but these things are not worship itself. They are an extension of our worshipful life; the consequence of a transformed Soul, and mind, and heart. In Love, we live to find the Body of Christ; to yoke with them now, and forever. In Love, we seek the truth at all cost to us personally. Many think that the Body of Christ is in some church business, but soon, the truth-seekers realize that they are not there. And so we may church-hop for awhile, trying to find those who are real; Soulfully real. Though we meet some good people along the way, many there just get comfortable in the pew; they get accustomed to the people; the faces, and they just abide. They are the Godless-religious (Matthew Seven Christians); they will not know that they're the goats and the tares, until its too late! The Body of Christ is not a compilation of weekend associates, the Body of Christ is One; we live together, work together, toil the soil together, harvest together, we build together, we bury each other. When we serve each other in the Body of Christ, we worship: This is our worship! It's far more than singing and church attendance; worship is not a service; service is the worship! For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Matthew 10:34-39 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it. (12:46-50) While He yet talked to the people, behold, His mother and brethren stood without, desiring to speak with Him. Then one said unto Him: Behold, your mother and brethren stand without, desiring to speak with you. But He answered and said unto him: Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And He stretched forth His hand toward His disciples and said: Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in Heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Matthew 24:4-13 And Jesus answered and said unto them: Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you not be troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be Saved.

2nd Timothy 3: Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand. For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of Godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these. For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth. But as those who withstood Moses, so these also resist the truth, men of corrupt mind, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further. For their foolishness shall be plain to all, as theirs also became. But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, patience, persecutions, afflictions, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra. What persecutions I endured! But the Lord delivered me out of all. Yea, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But continue in the things that you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.

Romans 15:5-16 And may the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded toward one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one mind and one mouth you may glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore receive one another as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. And I say, Jesus Christ has become a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and that the nations might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written, "For this cause I will confess to You in the nations, and I will praise Your name." And again He says, "Rejoice, O nations, with His people." And again, "Praise the Lord, all the nations, and praise Him, all the peoples." And again Isaiah says, "There shall be a root of Jesse, and He who shall rise to reign over the nations, in Him shall the nations trust." And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brothers, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. But, brothers, I wrote to you boldly, as reminding you in part, because of the grace that is given to me by God, that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, ministering the gospel of God, so that the offering up of the nations might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 16:17-18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such, serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Titus 3:8-11 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will, that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is a heretic after the first and second admonition, reject; knowing that he that is such, is subverted, and sins, being condemned of himself.

2nd Thessalonians 3:6-15 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves know how you ought to follow us: for we did not behave disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man's bread for naught; but wrought with labor and travail night and day, that we might not be chargable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an example unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But you, brethren, be not weary in well doing. And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Philippians 3:7-11 (cev) But Christ has shown me that what I once thought was valuable, is worthless: Nothing is as wonderful as knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have given up everything else, and count it all as garbage. All I want is Christ and to know that I belong to Him. I could not make myself acceptable to God by obeying the Law of Moses. God accepted me simply because of my faith in Christ. All I want is to know Christ and the power that raised Him to life. I want to suffer and die as He did, so that somehow I also may be raised to life.

Ephesians 5:8-21 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth), proving what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore he says, "Awake, sleeping ones! And arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light." See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting yourselves to one another in the fear of God.

Acts 16:23-26 And after laying on them many stripes, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailor to keep them safely; who, having received such a command, thrust them into the inner prison and made their feet fast in the stocks. And toward midnight Paul and Silas prayed and praised God in a hymn. And the prisoners listened to them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened and all the bonds were loosened.

Hebrews 2:9-15 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that He by the grace of God should taste death for all. For it became Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons into glory, to perfect the Captain of their salvation through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers, saying, "I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You." And again, "I will put My trust in Him." And again, "Behold Me and the children whom God has given Me." Since then the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise partook of the same; that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death (that is, the Devil), and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

    • Wisdom of the Hands This blog is dedicated to sharing the concept that our hands are essential to learning- that we engage the world and its wonders, sensing and creating primarily through the agency of our hands. We abandon our children to education in boredom and intellectual escapism, by failing to engage their hands in learning and making. The Shakers were an American religious sect who practiced voluntary simplicity and regarded hand work as a form of worship, following the creed, "Hands to labor, hearts to God."
